Art Therapy At Assisted Senior Living Home

As of late I've had the opportunity to try out some art therapy at my local assisted living home.
So far it's been going great, everyone is happy and having fun.
A lot of them have poor eye sight or other conditions that hinder them and leave them feeling rather useless.
But, I'm delighted to see individuals who claim to have no curiosity in life suddenly trying new things and asking for more.

Here are some examples of the progress we've made.

This set is from a painting to music. They wanted markers over paint.

This is from "Fill In The Blanks" where the group was presented with half finished drawings and then asked to try to finish them.

These are some self portraits from their inner perspective using clay.

Really, I find it quite amazing just how much a little goes a long way.
